Sign me up, this film looks damn refreshing.

While Suicide Squad’s release is incoming and in all honestly It feels like that film has already came out in theatres & passed with the first trailer debuting nearly a full 12 months ago but nevertheless new images regarding Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman were released by EW not to long ago (I’m playing catch in the film space).

Wonder Woman will be the first Female Led Superhero Film in the golden age of Superhero films and will be released by Warner Brothers next year. We got a taste of what is to come from Gadot’s interpretation of Wonder Woman in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, but let’s be honest she was barely a step above the ol’ Stan Lee cameo with her character mostly just fighting stuff and explosions you know?, okay, okay I’ll admit she had a few good scenes with Ben Affleck.

‘Monster’ director Patty Jenkins in the helmer of the upcoming superhero flick, she answers the question on most film fans minds ‘Why did this property take so long to be made into a feature film?’:

“I think part of the reason Wonder Woman hasn’t happened [until now] is because the right way to do it is as a classic origin story. People were afraid to do it with a woman, and now they are less so.”

I’m excited to see this film despite ‘Batman v Superman’ underwhelming me just because of how unique and refreshing this film could be for the Superhero genre, for sure I’ll be watching Wonder Woman in 11 Months when it opens on June 2nd 2017 but for now here are some new images from EW:
