Yes!, Yes!, Yes! (Daniel Bryan style)

I’m so tired, there’s so much news okay so Comic-Con has been shooting news everywhere it’s hard to comprehend so at the very end of the Marvel Studios SDCC Hall-H Panel, Kevin Feige announced to the world that the Oscar-winning ‘Room’ actress Brie Larson will be playing Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel.

This casting is perfect, it was either between Emily Blunt or Larson for me and to finally have it confirmed that she will be playing Marvel’s first female superhero in her own standalone film is exciting times.

The bad news folks is we won’t see this film for another 3 years as the film’s slated to be released March 9th 2019 and is yet to find a Director to helm the film but who knows we may even see Larson’s first appearance as Captain Marvel in the upcoming epic’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Part 1 & Part 2, anything a cameo we have to have something because I can’t wait 3 years to see Captain Marvel hit the big screen.

Marvel also debuted the new logo for Captain Marvel with Larson tweeting out confirmation of her role with a slick hat:
